I saw this item about Tom Peacock. Going thru some old negs on a project and I found this one of Tom at Wilmot. I am pretty sure that is Tom. I am enjoying all the stuff about the old Elva crowd from the mid-west. That was quite a group. Ron NelsonHello Bob,
I knew Tom Peacock very well. He crewed for me a number of times, one of which was at the Nassau Trophy Races in 1962. As I recall, he was the SCCA Chicago Region Grid Marshall for many years. He also crewed for Ollie Schmidt, and was a good friend of Jim Scott who maintained Ollie's and my cars. He also was at RA when I last raced there in 1991.
I last talked to Tom some years ago shortly after he retired from his "day job". Unfortunately, his contact info was on an old computer, and I've lost it. He may have lived in Glenn Ellen, IL at the time. I did a white search and there are 8 Tom Peacocks in Illinois. The one in La Grange may be him.
Also try the Chicago Region's Office.
