"...Car will be repaired will take time. Don't know if I will run the Mustang at the Wine Country event, depends on how I recover, slight vision problem...Road America is out take care. Fred"

Any accident at Thunderhill, is a BIG accident. I saw Van Overbeek get 30 feet in the air in a Porsche last December, after being hit coming out of the slowest corner. Note, the 'slowest corner'. Great track Thunderhill, but nasty if you have an off. That weekend I'm talking about 5 out of 60 cars got upside down....

At Road America a few years ago, that car reach close to 200mph on the straight going into Turn 1!

It was also clocked at 202 MPH prior to braking for Canada corner.

The car in your picture looks like a later one. Fred Cziska's car that crashed is on this webpage:

It's the one in the top row, two right hand pictures.

Resemeyer:
202mph into Canada! I must have acorns where I need nuts! I have driven a March 741 and March 76B through there and this cowboy is NOT remotely interested in going 202mph.
It is '70 technology!
God bless the very brave...and the very rich...
