At the monthly meeting today I will announce to the AIRPS organization that John Deere has joined our project to remember the former raceway complex, its drivers and its race cars. This is a major step forward for our public, non-profit memorial project at the former road race circuit that is being converted into public use as the 300 acre Diamond Lakes Regional Park.

John Deere joins Procter & Gamble and International Paper on an international level. Other regional and local supporters are listed at the site for those interested.

I want to publicly thank TNF for its continued support and for letting our organization continue the documentation of this six track racing complex.

One day the tracks, drivers and machines discussed on this forum will be documented in some form at Memorial Plaza for future generations to enjoy and learn.

I felt this milestone deserved a separate thread as well as being placed in the on-going documentation discussion.

Thanks to Twinny and thanks to all! This would not be happening without this public forum!
