Lola T490/2 HU4 history 1978 -1983??

Greetings to all,

I am researching the history of my Lola S2000 T490/2 chassis HU4 and need any information, recollections, photos etc of the car. The car was delivered to Divina Galica for use in the 1977 S2000 championship (first Year) She won the very first S2000 race in this at Oulton Park and finished second to John Cooper at year end. Divina won more races but missed some as she had a commitment to British F1. The car was sponsored by Kelly Girl and was green in colour and carried number 13. Charlie Whiting was mechanic. The earlier races of 1977 the car may not have had the Kelly Girl sponsorship.

After the 1977 season the car was returned to John Webb of Brands Hatch and the history gets foggy. Do you know the history of the car from 1978 onwards? Divina believes that Jackie Epstein ran the car in the 80's. When I got the car there was a second set of red, well used and modified body work that indicated the car may have been entered in Thundersports at some time, any ideas??

The car has a large fuel bladder manufactured in 1980. Was this installed to run endurance or Thundersports? The car also has center lock wheels fitted.

The car came to Canada in 1983 and I am the third Canadian owner.
