Thanks Rob and Reyna - great shots. I forgot to mention that we are restoring the car. It will initially run with a Vallelunga '69 nosecone (that will have to be fabricated from scratch) and '71-style rear wing (as this had end plates). All contributions are greatly appreciated.

I found this picture in Quattroruote, August 1969. It does not say who the driver is or where the picture was taken, sorry!
There are two small pictures (that do not reproduce well) of the tub of the DeTomaso F2 car sitting on the bench, in Road & Track, June 1969, page 103.
According to the index of 1970 issues, there is an article on the DeTomaso F2 car in the April 1970 issue of Quattroruote, but unfortunately, that is the only issue I am missing from that year.

Car was rolled out for the first time in early October for a track day at Goodwood, photographed outside the J. Stewart pavilion with a mint GT5S Pantera. Haven't yet decided on any 2010 programme although racing is definitely not on the cards.

Many thanks Ben,
Any chance you could detail the history of the car since 1971.
