Hi to everyone in this wonderful forum.
My question is: someone can tell more about Ayrton Senna's wife, Lilian ?
The reason of my question is that this marriage it always seems "strange" to me or at least
" unknow"
I mean I've only seen a single photo of Ayrton with his wife after a victory, I think it was in his
Formula Ford's days.
I've never read a word about her, about the marriage, and the way it ended.
I mean complete silence. Before and after.
I am not searching for a gossip, but if you think about it, it is strange that this matter,
never came up.

My best regards to all.
MonzaDriver.

my memory of the story is that he was married when he went to Englad first and was sharing a house. His wife never settled, he wasnt fully happy and he returned to Brazil. When he returned to Europe later that year he was no longer married!!

I've always wondered the same thing...you'd expect she'd have at least a syllable to say in the course of the past two decades.

She should be commended for not doing that.

Agreed.
The temptation must have been there, along with the "investigative reporters" and a few blank cheques....

Simon.

With the age of Senna and her, I think that they must have been childhood sweethearts, when Senna moved to the U.K. it did not work out. The fact that she has through all these years been able to not be part of Senna's legacy shows an very strong personal integrity.

Something that is lagging in most "public" figures these days, she have at the most been 22 years old when she divorced Senna, and he became "The next great one", within a year from that.

The inner strength that it must have taken, to avoid becoming part of this, making an odd Usd as well, is something that I do not think is in most of us.
