Vettel - no plans to employ a manager
He is only 20 and still a Formula One rookie, but Toro Rosso driver Sebastian Vettel is one of the only racers on the grid that does not have a manager.
The German news agency SID revealed that the former BMW Sauber test driver has always handled his own affairs at the pinnacle of racing.
Vettel said he has no plans to start looking for a manager, even though he is now considered among the sport's most promising flock of rising young racers.
"Until now I have always arrived on time to get to the grid.
There is no reason why that would change in the near future," he added.
I saw Vettel in a talk show last year. He is increadibly relaxed, smart and clear minded. He will go far, both on and off track and if there is any driver that is suited to manage himself, it is Sebastian. Altough, I would, if I was him, hire someone that takes care of the boring stuff and helps giving a second opinion and an alternative point of view.
