I would prefer someone who is not currently employed by any team.

Short term, i'd say Jean Todt is the best man to step in and take over Mosely. He'd ensure stability remains until they can hold proper elections in a year or two. Besides his incredible level of experience, he is a well respected figure in the auto world, has a high profile, and is available to do the job.

He'd even ensure stability continues in F1 as Mosely has done, and the two (prancing) horse race would continue unaffected (tongue firmly in cheek).;)

ARTICLE 19 - PRESIDENT - DEPUTY PRESIDENTS - VICE-PRESIDENTS
From October 2005, the President of the FIA may not serve more than two consecutive terms of office, subject always to Article 12.1.

Need someone who is able to grasp some very important concepts and not repeat the mistakes of the past. Someone outside motorsports could be a step backward in terms of car safety, sporting regulations and stuff like that... and someone outside the influence of motorsports could improve the perception problems regarding corruption, etc..

I go with Peter Sauber.

As much as im a fan of Todt, thered never be no allegations of bias towards the red team.

Then again my list dont include folks who have education and experience running big ruling bodies. Its a tough question for sure

Eddie Irvine. He is rich, intelligent, optimistic and he knows how to manage sex parties with more class.
