some thing that goes up in the Alfa-Romeo forum -
Does anyone know what ever happened to the 4cylinder turbo engines that Alfa designed and prepared for the Ligier team in the late 80's? There was a contract between Alfa Romeo and Guy Ligier for delivering engines to the team. Some engines where even tested (at Monza, I believe) in a Ligier chassis.
After Ferrari (through Fiat) denied Alfa Romeo the entry in formula one, everything jumped off.
I must have a picture somewhere, but can't find it anymore.
Anyone who knows more?
i know that the Osella team used the alfa engine as well .
thanks

I think it was sent back to Alfa after it was at Ricambi for about 2 years.
For all intents and purposes, Ricambi no longer exists, and Brad Bunch, the owner of the business, last I heard, was living in central California as of about 3-4 years ago.
