For those that follow the short lived Augusta International Raceway, it is understood that on March 1, 1964 Cobra CSX 2260 driven by Ken Miles was victorious in the Manufacturers USRRC race followed by CSX2259 driven by Dave MacDonald. In the Manufacturers USRRC race, King Cobra CM/1/63, driven by Dave MacDonald took the checkers.
There is a possibility that these three cars will appear at the AIRPS 4th Annual Celebration on September 8, 2007.
Yes, at this point none of the three owners have confirmed, but two of the three have already expressed an interest in returning their cars to Augusta.
Some work to be done here, but it would be special!
We must keep moving forward.
