A friend just found on Ebay several items that are said to come from famous auction of the Williams F1 Reserve Collection which was organized by Bonhams at the end of 2005. Yes, the one that was canceled because someone had bought all the catalogue before the sale. What do you think about that ? Is he the mysterious buyer of the collection ? Here's the link :

Caveat emptor?

That account has apparently been dormant for nearly a year.

yes, really strange, and this sentence in the description :

3.) I will not answer questions that I feel are not relevant to this auction. Please do not ask me questions about items from the Bonhams auction which I have not yet listed. If I am going to sell an item it will appear on e bay.[I]

Just noticed also that only payment method accepted is PayPal. However, despite 100% positive feedback, there's no buyer protection shield. So in the event of fraud you'd only be protected if your PayPal account is linked to a credit card. That looks extremely iffy ..... :

But, hey - it's only a problem if you actually wanted to own any of that crap, so why worry!

The most *historic* item is what, seven years old... ?

I believe that Belgian historic racer Hubert Fabri has a glass-topped coffee table made from a Coventry Climax 16 cyl block, if it gives you any ideas.
