Early Ferrari tool boxes

I am seeking information pertaining to the wooden tool boxes that came with a new Ferrari in the 1950s. There appears to have been more than one type depending on the model of car.
The only documentation I have been able to find is attached below. The first comes from an auction catalogue and is supposedly correct for a 166.
The second is a reprint of a 250 TDF parts manual featured in Dick Merritt's book of reprints.

The tools are primarily used for engine maintenance.

To continue the current trend of quizzes here is my guess:

These are shop tools to overhaul the cylinder heads. The tool for compressing the 'Hairpin' valve springs is fairly obvious. The tweezers would be for picking out the collets. It gets harder after that! The 'T' bar may be for turning the camshaft to set timing or it could be a valve seat refacing tool. The puller (pusher?) may be to remove rocker arm bushes. There are two spanners (wrenches) to undo the rocker arm posts. The part #10 in the drawing appears to be a cam setting template. The two semi circular plates with round extensions may be for installing rocker arm bushes.
The cylindrical device is a nose flute! :blush:

I know nuffink about Eyetalian stuff.

David, Thank you for your reply. Most of your descriptions are correct. I do know what the tools are used for but trying to learn which is correct for any particular model, and are any of these items for sale any where.
I am putting the finishing touches on a 212 Cabriolet and what like to have a historically correct kit with the car. A local collector has allowed me to inspect a box he owns but I believe many of the tools in that one were made recently and done to facilitate the repair function and not copied for authenticity.
I have been told by someone I consider very knowledgable that little is known on the subject so I came to where there are the most well versed experts are, TNF.
My intuition tells me that for a 212 I would need contents that are closer to those in the photo than those in the drawing. WDYT?

I think it's very unlikely that a kit like this actually came with each new Ferrari at the time, but perhaps was available on special order for workshops, or racing teams, or highly skilled enthusiast/owners.

Thanks for the link to Fchat. That is yet another? It appears wider and to hold considerably more tools than the others I have seen. I have contacted TS several times with questions regarding the tool boxes and the replies I receive are brief at best. I'll keep digging.

Here are some photos of the valve spring compressor mechanism. This looks tricky to make? I would love to find an original part.
