Was wondering if there are pictures of Bertil Roos in the UOP Shadow during the GP of Sweden 1974...

Yes we knoe this one. But thank you anyway.
But there must be others. Roos only compleated a few laps in the GP. But he ran in practice as everybody else. DOHC has taken some very nice pictures from the 1974 Swedish GP. Maybe he did take one or two photos of Bertil and his very nice black car.
DOHC Have you?
Best regards

That helmet looks a bit "new"? I'm puzzled by that picture :

Yes; his regular design was mid-to-light blue with yellow crowns IIRC.

I'm pretty sure I've seen pics somewhere of him in his regular helmet in the Shadow, but probably in practice. From a shot of the cars leaving the grid it seems evident that he was wearing a plain helmet in the race.

The first picture at the top of the page shows a white Bell marked up as an AGV, which I think was quite common, but the one I commented on, the lines of the helmet suggest a much later Bell like an AFX??

Talked to Bertil today. The white helmet was used because it was larger and fit the head rest better.
