Can anyone assist, do you remember the London Rally held during the 1950s and 1960s. It used to attract many well known rally drivers of the era. What I am trying to establish is related to the Lapel Badge and Year Bars that were issued each year to competitors. The badge itself was enamelled on base metal in the shape of London's Big Ben. The year bars were either blue, white or red. What I need to know is what was the significance of these colours. Did they follow the same logic as the RAC Rally of Great Britain badges and year bars, where blue was for classified finisher, white for non finisher and red for official? Is there anyone out there who can remember or knows a past competitor who might know the answer? I have drawn a blank with my own contacts who competed on the event. Thanks
