Donington sold; good news?

Live Nation has sold Donington to a consortium that includes Tom Wheatcroft:

From this side of the pond, this sounds like good news, as the Grand Prix Collection will apparently remain intact. What's the perception in the UK?

From what I have heard from those in the know, that there are some who feel that the British GP should be there within 5 years (a small man with lots of money! ;) ) and it's already being used s a crowbar against Silverstone.
