We don't seem to have marked his recent passing anywhere (though apologies if I've missed it).

Not perhaps an out and out motorsport personality, but surely he's worthy of a place somewhere in TNF?

Well worth noting, certainly to this ex-Spitfire owner. It's very sad news, but at least he lived to a good age. Not entirely short of racing connections, witness his involvement with various Triumph Le Mans projects and the "Sabrina" twin cam engine.

Well posted Alan Lewis.

What his passing really reminds us of is the extraordinary squandering of talent, loss of potential and utter destruction of major British car manufacturing over a protracted period. We lost so much apparently without a care. Mediocre management, subversive politically motivated unions and accompanying disastrous labour relations, what a farce.

Sadly too poor Mr. Webster was pre-deceased by his wife and daughter.

You'll have to apologize to Richie Jenkins, methinks.

The Telegraph's obituary is here.

More than happy to do so.

Odd that plugging "Harry Webster" into the Search facility didn't turn this up though.
