Does anyone have the catalogue from this? There were a number of interesting cars with French hillclimb histories offered at that auction and I'm hoping the catalogue will give some of their history.

Lot 40 - Tecno 1971 F2 chassis 714
Lot 43 - Chevron B18 chassis 03
Lot 44 - McLaren M4A chassis 200-18F
Lot 59 - Tecno 1970 F2 chassis "191570"
and maybe also
Lot 42 - Lotus 22 chassis 22-J-1
Lot 66 - Lola T290 chassis HU18

Many thanks

Allen

Your wish, Sir, is my command...

Sadly, there is ne'er a reference to French hillclimbing in any of the lot descriptions. In fact the only hill/mountain reference is made in the Lola description, attributing it to Angelo Gilberti (the first owner) in the European championship.

Alan

You are most kind. Thank you.

David McKinney is also a very nice man, having phoned me with much of the pertinent detail. In fact, we were talking as you posted these images.

I have to say that if I was buying one of the 12 existing ex-Regga F2 Tecnos, I'd want a bit moe history than was in that catalogue!
