I think it's a Lancia or a Maserati; someone else has suggested a de Tomaso Longchamp, but I'm not convinced!

Well, to be logical, I doubt it is anything Italian because the car looks like it is in an American section of the show- though it is very Italian looking! Similar to a Kyalami/Longchamp, but it is a different car- the fuel filler location is completely different for example, this would indicate a different chassis.

Well done that man!
Apparently (after a swift Google) it was in a previous edition of Classic & Sportscar, so I'll have to raid my garage to see if I can find it.

The Momo Mirage is featured in the April 2005 issue of C&S.

In alt.binaries.pictures.autos, Leroy Curtis replied:
"This is the 1971 Momo Mirage. The coachwork is by Frua. It used a
Chevrolet 350 V8, and was a Stanguellini design, financed by Momo, the
Italian wheel manufacturers. Apparently 4 prototypes were built before
the project foundered."
And:
"Apparently there have been articles in Road and Track, Classic Sportscar
and Automobile Quarterly about the car, but I don't have access to any
of these. I suspect the chassis would have been Stanguellini-designed."
Between This Notable Forum and alt.binaries.pictures.autos, these "mysteries" don't have a chance!
