That's very disappointing even though I don't like him. What a pity.
Who will they use instead, then?

Great news. I am very happy that I dont have to see him in a F1 race again
He was better than Alesee for Christ sakes, he even gave him his WDC car, but Alesee sluggish.

Could they have been hacked?
It's possible I suppose but I doubt it.
This article from yesterday pretty much predicted todays news:

On planetf1.com, they had the headline and picture of Schumi, I loaded it an hour ago and didn't see it, had to come home for something. Saw it on screen. Refreshed screen and now it's gone. So there is reason to be skeptical.
If it's on his website though..

And I am very sad that people can be happy about somebody else's misfortune.

Could they have been hacked?
If that's the case, I know some posters on this board who would have loved to do that (tossers).

Even though I was not a fan during his years, I admire his achievements and I was in awe about the amount of loyalty towards the team when he announced his comback.

Valencia authorities must be worried, First, Renault, Now , Schumi....
I´m sure that they´re praying for Marc Gene getting the F60 drive for European G.P.

Why the heck did he have to ride those bikes!?

Well I imagine the first words out of Massas mouth when he finds this out will be "I'll drive!". But assuming he is ruled out for a month or two, then Badoer and Gene are the most likely candidates. Probably Gene.

It has to be Gene, Badoer is out of the question. Seems that KR was quite right when he made comments during rally that it's not 100% sure that MS will come back.
Also Will Weber was right in the end!

- Wurz
- de la Rosa
- Super-sub Roberto Moreno
- Montoya (if they can squeeze him in)
- Kubica (so BMW can give some new youngster a chance)
- Alguesauri <---- I wouldn't be surprised if this happens...
- Alonso... starts his career with Ferrari early
- Bourdais... if they cannot find anyone else
- Bruno Senna.. to make another media spectacle..

There will be one people more disappointed to hear this news than myself, Hamilton and Vettel and that's Michael Schumacher himself.
The very idea that after all the hype, kart racing, testing and fitness training Michael could just chicken out is simply ridiculous.
Those on this forum seriously suggesting that cowardice is real reason should take an IQ test.

At least for the rest of the season we wont have to worry of seeing MS at the pitwall too...

Fractures in the head and neck? Holy crap someone did a good job covering up how bad that shunt was that he had!
It was always going to be the biggest problem for him to face, pulling 4+G in a modern F1 car takes a HUGE amount out of your neck! This is a real shame and I hope he decides to stay awya from the bikes from now on!
BUT... he may yet get strong enough for Spa...he just cannot be fit enough for Valencia.... but I suspect he wont return at all, which is a great shame for all motorsport fans.
Badoer now most likely to step in? Maybe thats why he went karting with Schumacher?
Bourdais is a real outside bet, but not impossible... Also....could Piquet be an outside bet?
A great shame for Schumi... Valencia would have been great to see, but everyone was looking forward most to watching him in Spa....
