Hello all
Rudolf Sauerwein drove in 1936 at Vila Real a dark coloured Adler Super Trumpf (prototype), starting number "26". Registration:"IT 101157".
See please "autodiva.fr, forum".
Does anybody know the colour of that car? Perhaps anybody in Vila Real?
Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards
Fabienne

Probably it had exactly the same colour like the works 'Stromlinien' Adler Super Trumpf who ran at Le Mans in 1937.

In Tobias Aichele's book about Husche von Hanstein there are a couple of pictures of the Adler team at Le Mans in 1937, unfortunately noregitration numbers are visible on the race cars. The two 1.7 litre cars, nos 33 and 34 were white while the the third car no 35, the 1.5 litre car which von Hanstein shared with the French woman driver Annie Itier, was dark blue.
So possibly the Sauerwein car was also dark blue.
