Is there anyone on the forum who has pictures of the HMC Suzuki TR750 which was ridden by Alex George in the seventies?

No luck with pictures, sorry, here is Alex reply to me, it might be of help?

"OK Graham, there are none that I know about. The bike, quite quick for a TR750 is the one I rode at Daytona (finished 13th I think out of 120!!) and a few other events. Louie Bowman from Haggs Motor Centrum in Den Haag in Holland was the enthusiastic owner. Alex (I will keep searching the older files)"

If you go to that page of the Jack Middelburg website
http://www.jumpingja..._1976-1977_.htm
and scroll down the page, you will find three (!) pictures of Alex on this machine ( number 333 ) in the report of the 1976 edition. Admittedly they are a little small , but it's a start ......

Well done Philippe! brilliant detective work, at least we can see it was in blue & white Factory Suzuki colours.
What a labour of love that Jack Middleburgh website is, so much in it, you can get lost for hours in there!!

Yes, it's a very, very good site once you've understood how it's organized . And the more I use it, the better my Dutch gets ;) ( fortunately, I took German as second language and although the Dutch might not agree, it does help ...)

The only thing that some people might object to is that a lot of the content is scanned from books or magazines and the copyrights not always clearly stated ( for instance, I perfectly remember that this colour picture of Alex "stuffing it inside" KR ( ) was in the relevant issue of Moto Journal with the Daytona report) but apart from that, it's a goldmine as regards entry lists, full results, etc.....

We can see Alex George on the standard framed TR 750 there in Daytona, as i know the bike got a new bakker frame later cause of an accident! I have a picture of the bike with the coulours of the Haags Motoren Center while Jos Schurgers have ridden it in Assen 1976 or 1977. Jos has confirmed that fact to me.... and i know where the bike is today(still in Holland!)

cheers

Karl

Evan you have to put your pics in a photobucket or image shack file first & upload from there for this forum.
