Participating are: Massa, Ruby, Alguersuari, Senna, di Grassi, Liuzzi, Kanaan, C. Fittipaldi, Zonta, Castroneves, Pizzonia, Bianchi, Maldonado, Burti and others. But no Michael Schumacher to defend his second title

Great event, but I wish they wouldn't use those dumb looking cheese slice bodywork things. I know WHY they use them so they can change karts and what not and maintain their sponsors etc.... but it looks wrong

Shame that NAP won't race.

This weekend we just have the Granja Viana's 500 Miles.

About the Desafio Internacional das Estrelas (the event of the OP), I think this year it will be really close between Liuzzi, Massa, Meira and barrichelo and Di Grassi just behind. C. Fittipaldi should be up there too.

I'm curious about how B. Senna, Maldonado, Alguersuari and Bianchi will perform on this race.

By the way, this race is also useful for us for tryng to spot new sponsorship deals for the drivers, specially for those drivers that are needing it desperately.


Edit: European viewers should pay attention for the Friday and Saturday's schedule as the practices and qualify will undergo in the evening on local time. Sunday race will be at 11 AM local time.

CRG do Brasil has ended 9th on Granja Viana with their second kart.
But they won't compete on the Desafio, I think.

If you are interested, i have some 2 hours of Fore´s kart on board camera (altough my friend is driving, not Foré) . He did some 40-50 overtaking and lost only one place at the very end of his turn as he was tired.

Amazing win from Di Grassi yesterday night after recovering from a bump from Massa. Very agressive driving.
Barrichello looked like to have had some problems wth his kart.
Kanaan did a great recovering race from 14th to 5th!
Alguersuari had a solid race.

What went wrong with Jaime? I turned on the live timing and he was leading ahead of Rubens after 19 laps... But in last laps he lost many places and was quite slow... And about di Grassi - didn t he finished down the order in second race?

Amazing race, Bia from 11th to 1st!
Lots of overtakes, greattly cheared by the crownd! Took the 2nd palce on the final standings.

Great race from Alguersuari too, almost champion of the Challenge.
@marcoferrari, he was overtaken by Barrichello at the same time that Bia overtook Kanaan.
Then Bia overtook him too. Kanaan aproached him and both was battleing when both touch each other, after Jaime running on the grass. he lost spedd and was overtaken by some drivers.

Kanaan solid and aggressive.

Di Grassi was unlucky for being hit from Pizzonia and DNFed earlier in the race, but he was champion thanks to Bia's unbelievable pace.

Massa lost the championship on the last laps after losing two places after a collision.
