Geoffrey Horton, kindly sent me the above photo from Paolo Alto this year, so far as I can work out from a classified ad on Pistonheads website this vehicle has been restored by Canepa Design.

Looking at racingsportscars.com this same car appears to have been acquired by John Klug Racing who used it in Trans Am spec in 1983. Being completely unfamiliar with Trans Am specs for this period I am wondering if anyone could confirm if this transformation is likely / possible and or the truth ?

Relevant answers maybe used and credited in a forth coming blog.

I must have been as it was entered in several Trans Am race in 1983. It was listed as a 930 not a 935. The Trans Am at that time favored American sedans much more than imports.
