Congratulations to Daisy (TT) and kurski (TT) for winning the last round of the season, and for p-matt (TT) who was the best one predicting final positions of both 2012 FR 3.5 Drivers and Teams Championships. Mention to scheivlak (AS), the only one who predicted correctly the Drivers Champion, within the runner-up, in correct positions!
Observations:
R09 Barcelona:
- masahiro (NA): Wrote two drivers (Da Costa and Müller) for 5th in R2, then this part of his forecast wasn't valid.
- F1wingwins (TH) and fisichellaeldos (TH): Put Ramos in their predictions, but the drivers' place changed hands two times. We'll consider their predictions as they have posted Korjus, Ramos' ultimate replacement, for this round. In case of the last one of the predictors, also forgot poleman of Race 2.
- p-matt (TT): Inscribed Sorensen twice (4th and 9th) in his R2 forecasts, so these parts of it weren't valid.

With all round results cleared, we present...

Ramblings about forum progressions in the 2012 WSR Two Worlds Prediction Competition:

Ten-Tenths: The core forum of TWPC finally got another championship in the hands of p-matt. He, the eternal Daisy and kurski were round winners.

Nextgen-Auto: Thanks for the full support by Azur, our official French translator, the Competition ran at full speed in the Francophone section of this forum. lotusien was the best scorer of the forum and round winner; Big one, masahiro[/b], and SUTIL80 were also round winners.

Autosport: They conformed a compact but effective group headed by scheivlak, best scorer, and Makarias and Dispenser89. All three were round winners. Wonder what would happen if the latter didn't withdraw of the Competition at mid-season, when he was leading the stats.

CarAndDriverTheF1: Caused by no presence of Spanish drivers in the series, the interest of this forum was tiny during the season. I was the best scorer, and F1wingwins was the only other consistent player, with the esporadical presence of other users in some rounds.

In an aftermath, the season showed consistency in the number of players, in the rank of 10-13 entries per round. Also showed an increase in point scorings up to the peak of 20 points by one of them in the second part of the season, showing the level of accuracy of our players. Fortunately the series had TV in Europe and Latin America, so people of forums of those latitudes could see the races during the year. But after all, we have to show gratitude to many users who trusted and put consistence to participate in this Competition.

About 2013, Autosport, Nextgen-Auto, Ten-Tenths, and CarAndDriverTheF1 are ensured to continue. Alas, we're opened to new forums to join - If you are in a forum where is interest on Formula Renault 3.5 and want our Prediction Competition running there, give notice to us!

On a last note, you may have noted this FR 3.5 Two Worlds Prediction competition was running alongside GP2 one - that is cause that both series are the main feeder series of F1, regarding drivers. These politics are keen to continue in 2013. As we said before, the key name of the competition is "Two", since that number refers that the nature of the Two Worlds Prediction Competitions are following the predictions of the most important runner-up formula series which are under Formula One.

Thanks Mekola!

It was fun trying to guess every round with this mix of seasoned drivers and newbies.
Let's hope for a few more competitors in 2013!

Thanks for running the games, Mekola! Taking part is a very nice way to try to have a clue about who the up and coming drivers might be. Shame that I missed the championship round though.
