Sad news I have just heard from Frank's wife that sadly he passed away peacefully last night.
Frank was a great enthusiast ans stalwart of club racing. He had his first race in 1950 at Silverstone in the 1930 Austin 7 Ulster which he still has and had been already entered in ths year's Goodwood auction . He raced Austins Rileys a Lotus 22 a Lola Mk2 a Keift a Sebring Sprite and more. he lived in Cheltenham not far from Prescott hill climb and was a regular competitor there over the years.
He was the founder and life president of the Monoposto Club. I knew him for more than 30 years , a keen enthusiast and competitor right in to his 80s. He suffered with Parkinsons disease and recently had a number of other health issues. A nice man, amazing in many ways, he will be missed. Frank was 93.

Very sorry to hear this. In so many ways Frank exemplified over many years the very best of foundation club racing and helped a huge number of novices to join in the fun.

A very familiar name to those who followed club level motor racing in the 1950's and something of an unsung hero.
