 I am sorry to report that David Cross who was author of the surprise best selling book "Inside the Paddock" died yesterday, Wednesday September 18 . David had been diagnosed with cancer but had been responding well to treatment but things took a turn for the worse within the last few months and he faced the diagnosis wieh great strength and humour.

His wife Sally was a tremendous support to him and he leaves two daughters Katie and Jennie.

He had just finished the sequel to his Paddock book and it is likely to be published at a later date

That's very sad to hear - I met him at Goodwood last year, nice chap, wrote good books.

Very sorry to read this, we corresponded on a number of occasions, and met up at a couple of different meetings to discuss progress with the first "Inside The Paddock".
