I am sending you a short selection of Sam Adams specialty beers .. since it is coming from the US, of course.
We start with an Imperial Stout for those Guinness lovers among you.
We then have an essential Infinium Ale champagne beer.
There is then a specialty fall Double Bock that is very tasty.
The very Hoppy Imperial Pilsner for those who like the stronger taste.
And we finish with the unique taste of the Stoney Brook Red.
If that doesn't leave you virtually s-faced enough, you are on your own.
Cheers, and congratulations on this milestone event. Amazing collection of material and a true resource.

Thought you might enjoy a break from Guinness and Red Barrel.
Can come up with others for major holidays and special events, I suppose ...
But, Thursday is a special event, isn't it?

Have, am.Concentrate, E1.
Ain't working. Wire and grey matter both too small.Whatever you do don't pour it.
Syringe?
Served no purpose last night, now serving no beer, either. Apologies. Maybe after the 20,000th?
TWest, great lineup, indeed.... I'm thinkin' Pilsner first, Stout last. Don't want to clog the wire starting with the Stout.

Maybe I missed your post about it:
Did taking pictures of pretty girls become you profession after you quit drawing cutaways or is it just a hobby?
And how did you get from one subject to the other?

Duc,
I assume that you got my direct e-mail to you on Cassie. Let me know, as it should have been there. Not exactly a profession, just a preference. I have been shooting cars since 1966, and am finding this much more interesting ... sort of keeps the blood flowing, I guess.
Getting from one to the other .. just luck, I would think. Can think of no other reason for any of them to agree to do this stuff with me. Most of the time, you can just feel if there will be a positive reaction .. probably a 90% hit rate at the moment ...
Of course, there are events where you can certainly raise that percentage, so I take advantage of that when possible.
Hope that made some sense without upsetting sensibilities.

The wheel/tire detail is different, passenger compartment detail is minimized, and no detail is shown under the front sheet metal, but the basic lines and engine details are virtually identical to Giovanni Cavara's rendition...
Peter
You are right. But worse than that, it was a waste of damn good spot the difference material.
Ill edit the original post, to read 'After' Cavara.

I don't believe we have yet seen the second - it is the Dan Odenborg H-Bomb Special from 1951 by William A Moore. It ran H-modified and its power source originally was a Mercury 750cc outboard motor.

See pages 222, post 8861 and later 8867 for the original post by myself with an interesting article link. & page 234 for an inevitable cleaned-up version by Marc. Better an extra version than none at all. It is listed under Mercury in the Index.

That's a bit over the top I think ! 1961 would be more correct.it is the Dan Odenborg H-Bomb Special from 1951 by William A Moore.
Project started in 1961, the H-bomb special started racing in 1963 and blew the competition into the weeds!
The famed Sports Car Graphic article on the H-bomb which accompanied this cutaway is of January 1964.

From Autosport’s 60th anniversary edition,
All cutaways have been posted before, but not as these magazine page spreads.
Hope you enjoy, I’ve sent them to other posters, but never “aired” them.
Marc,
Any chance that you know who did the Tyrrell ilustration? I don't think that I have ever seen any attribution on this piece, and would like to credit it, even in my own files. Really thought that was a neat design project, and standing out there on the final turn at Watkins Glen with them dirt-tracking through those corners almost over my toes was quite a memory.
Thanks for posting these. Any chance that you have the Maserati and the Tyrrell in larger versions?
Ya don't get nothin' if ya don't ask ...
Thanks.

This one is very special to me. It was a poster enclosed in a Brazilian F1 yearbook from the 1986 season.
I did the best I could to clean and enhance the image. If any of you feel you can do better just ask me and I'll send the raw files.
This is the Williams FW11 from the begining of the 1986 season. There's no info about the author, but the style reminds me of Antonio Eiras (compare with the McLaren MP4/4 posted some days ago), or maybe Tony Matthews.
Any clue?

I dare say definitely not a Matthews.
It might have been by Sergio Baratto, but I cannot find this FW11 in my Baratto files.
Antonio Eiras is the best bet I would go for now.

His work in the aviation industry has been demonstrated by the earlier post of his Firebrand TF5, but he also drew for Nuclear Engineering as shown by his drawing of the reactor at Calder Hall, Sellafield, England.
