Nice one Geoff , I can recognise Stirling, Graham, Dave Charlton (behind Graham), Peter Gethin (red & white hat) and Jackie Stewart (back to camera), but who is the guy to the left of Stirling?

Thanks for the Mod Saloons Andrew, what brutes! I can still remember the Anglias, Minis, Skodas etc fitted with F2 and V8 engines! Scary, but damn quick in a straight line .

Good to see 3 new contributors to the Paddock Club, and two with photos from outside of the UK. A warm welcome and thank you to uffen, Playlife & Farzad.

It amazes me that when Barry started this thread in November 2001 there were only two posts of photos.. one from Barry and one from me  . The resurrected thread has really taken off and we are now at post #375  . Brilliant, and let's keep it going...

This one?... ...

Henk, I think David is indicating that you should try to reduce the filesize of your posted images.

As a general rule of thumb I post between 650 and 800 pixels wide, with a jpeg compression that will keep the filesize below 100kb.
Others you will notice post thumbnails with a link to the larger image

Could everyone use a maximum pixel width of 700 please! Most of the time, mine are just 500...
And Henk, could you please resize yours accordingly? Many thanks.

As they say Twinny, size is important  , but not as important as compression! If you look at Luc's latest postings they are all 800x600, but still only 80kb-90kb because of the compression. I think you will all agree that the quality is also excellent!

I personally do not use ImageShack, preferring my own webspace, but the thumbnail/link option seems the best idea for those that do use it. For my part I aim for 640x450 images (good for a 800x600 screen) and with jpeg compression the images are usually down to 50kb-60kb.. with acceptable I clarity I think?

Rob
P.S. I think Henk has already reduced the size of his images..;)

Thanks Anders, I just love it when hidden gems appear on this forum

I have been looking for TGP info from the late 1990s, and it is difficult to find. All I had for the Jyllandsring race was the date, 15/06/97. Now I have the name of the winner, his car, a picture, and also some of the other runners...

Theodore N183 would probably be MN-18 #34 driven by Jan Lundgardh who ran in a few of the 1997 races.

The March 821 is a puzzle as I have no records of an 821 running in 1997. Could it possibly have been an 811? Erik Rostek ran a March 811 #37 in 1997.

The Leyton House (90B?) is a complete mystery... maybe someone else will fill in the details?

Thanks again Anders.. and more if you have them

Thanks for the extra photos Anders, brilliant.

The Theodore is the Jan Lundgardh car I think, correct number and livery.

Your memory is better than my records as the March definitely looks like an 821. The problem I have with this is that it is not carrying race numbers and the logos are nothing like on the original 821. Most of the TGP/Historic guys try for original liveries and numbers. Did the March 821 actually race? Maybe it was a 'showcar' of some description?

The Leyton House has the name 'Penman' on the side, but this name means nothing to me. Also Google brings up nothing on this driver.. looks like we will need to rely on TNFers to solve this?
