bigears, the top pic is definitely a B191 in the livery they started the 1992 season with (no Autopolis sponsorship).

Everyone, fantastic photos! Keep them coming! clap.gif

Barry

Count me in if the thread takes off. Most of my personal F1 pics are already on FORIX but I am sure I could find some paddock shots that have not been seen.

Maybe even shots from other catagories? I would LOVE to see some personal photos from the 1976 & 77 Shellsport series or the 1978-79 AFX or F5000!

OK Barry, I promised to join this thread so here are a few from the early 1970's

1972 British GP at Brands Hatch and Niki Lauda (driving for March) checks his mount for 1973!

Guy Ewwards brakes his F5000 Lola T330 for Druids during practice for the 1973 Race of Champions at Brands.

1974 Race of Champions at Brands and Jacky Ickx brings his Lotus 72E back into the paddock after practice.

Just after the Ickx picture and Denny Hulme returns in the McLaren M23 (without his helmet).

I'll see how many other members contribute to this thread and maybe post a few more in December?

I am not a professional photographer, so copyrighting my photos does not bother me. If anyone thinks that my pics are good enough to use elsewhere I am delighted, and more that happy for that to happen.

One funny occurrance regarding copyright etc.. check these links..

These are two of my photos.. used on the official BRDC website without my knowledge lol.gif lol.gif .
I assume they 'lifted' them from FORIX?

I hate watermarks and other things spoiling images mad.gif mad.gif , but I do understand the reasons why some people use them rolleyes.gif .

I've looked at this thread on two different machines today, and in both Barry Boor's and Twinny's posts, all I get are those annoying little boxes with Xs in the middle. I can see all the other shots posted so far.

You could not see Barry Boor's pics because he'd removed 'em! Now they are back.. OK clap.gif

Nice one Geoff up.gif, I can recognise Stirling, Graham, Dave Charlton (behind Graham), Peter Gethin (red & white hat) and Jackie Stewart (back to camera), but who is the guy to the left of Stirling?

Thanks for the Mod Saloons Andrew, what brutes! I can still remember the Anglias, Minis, Skodas etc fitted with F2 and V8 engines! Scary, but damn quick in a straight line eek.gif.

Good to see 3 new contributors to the Paddock Club, and two with photos from outside of the UK. A warm welcome and thank you to uffen, Playlife & Farzad.

It amazes me that when Barry started this thread in November 2001 there were only two posts of photos.. one from Barry and one from me cry.gif . The resurrected thread has really taken off and we are now at post #375 eek.gif . Brilliant, and let's keep it going...

All of these are from the 1974 British GP at Brands Hatch.

The McLaren team hard at work

Pescarolo's naked BRM P201

Lella Lombardi's Brabham BT42 carrying the number of her sponsors..

Team Surtees TS16/3's

Hesketh 308 of James Hunt.. expecting rain ;)

Three guys from the BTCC paddock inspect Tom's Shadow DN3

Guy #2 : "Well I can't see it"
