bigears, the top pic is definitely a B191 in the livery they started the 1992 season with (no Autopolis sponsorship).
Everyone, fantastic photos! Keep them coming! |

Barry
Count me in if the thread takes off. Most of my personal F1 pics are already on FORIX but I am sure I could find some paddock shots that have not been seen. Maybe even shots from other catagories? I would LOVE to see some personal photos from the 1976 & 77 Shellsport series or the 1978-79 AFX or F5000! Rob |

OK Barry, I promised to join this thread so here are a few from the early 1970's
1972 British GP at Brands Hatch and Niki Lauda (driving for March) checks his mount for 1973!
Guy Ewwards brakes his F5000 Lola T330 for Druids during practice for the 1973 Race of Champions at Brands.
1974 Race of Champions at Brands and Jacky Ickx brings his Lotus 72E back into the paddock after practice.
Just after the Ickx picture and Denny Hulme returns in the McLaren M23 (without his helmet). I'll see how many other members contribute to this thread and maybe post a few more in December? Rob |

Good to see 3 new contributors to the Paddock Club, and two with photos from outside of the UK. A warm welcome and thank you to uffen, Playlife & Farzad.
It amazes me that when Barry started this thread in November 2001 there were only two posts of photos.. one from Barry and one from me All of these are from the 1974 British GP at Brands Hatch.
The McLaren team hard at work
Pescarolo's naked BRM P201
Lella Lombardi's Brabham BT42 carrying the number of her sponsors..
Team Surtees TS16/3's
Mechs prepare Denny Hulme's M23
Hesketh 308 of James Hunt.. expecting rain ;)
Three guys from the BTCC paddock inspect Tom's Shadow DN3 Guy #1 : "Hell, it must have a small engine" Guy #2 : "Well I can't see it" Guy at rear : "Don't panic, I've found it back here!" |
