I am going to Valencia GP this year and just about to buy the tickets. I have a track layout where the grandstands are etc, but not sure exactly where the best seats are. Any ideas? smile.gif

I'll change Barcelona with Valencia this year, I think nothing beats a street circuit when watching F1 cars. smoking.gif

No idea what seat to choose, I'll investigate.

Here is a (crappy) virtual lap at valencia.

IMO, the end of the straight (after passing the bridge) can be really interesting. There is a really close curve with a nice getaway, so i think most of the action of the race will happen there

Really looking forward to that circuit. It´s gonna be pretty impresive watching the cars on certain areas.

I think advance booking will be essential.Problem is finding the best seat when it has not yet been built. What appears on the virtual display may not be what turns out in reality.Though I must say my previous experience of the same situation in Spain-Bilbao-World Series Renault in 2005 was great!

I understand there's no 'sit were you like' on the Friday. I hadn't a clue where to sit but after talking with someone who has recently driven the circuit I've decided on T19 where I should be able to see them coming towards me.
Mr M0by
I haven't had a clue about where to sit either but after reading that you had spoke to someone that blah blah blah blah blah.... I've gone for grandstand 19 too.
Mr M0by
Anyone had their tickets arrive yet? I guess it's a bit early but thought i'd check anyway.

Mine arrived via DHL this morning! Yay! clap.gif

I ordered though 'extratours', linked off the official website (http://www.valenciastreetcircuit.com/index_eng.html).
Mr M0by
I bought from there too on the day they went on sale, no tickets for me yet. I emailed them late Wednesday evening enquiring as to when they would probably be despactched, no reply to that yet either.
Mr M0by
After a bit of a delay and a couple of emails my tickets have now arrived. smile.gif

Has anyone any more information regarding the number of jumbrotron screens there are and by which stands.... also where the F1 Village is located and how much access we have around the circuit etc etc?

Good news on the tickets! smile.gif

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any information on whether they'll be any big screens around the circuit.
So for peace of mind I've hired a Kangaroo tv unit for the weekend.

Regarding access to the circuit, as I understand it you only have access to the 'zone' in which your grandstand
is located. There's a map on the official website showing the grandstands and which gate you'll be allowed through.

Whether or not they'll have an F1 village I don't know.

it also seems like they have finally realised they need to do something about drivers using run-off to gain an advantage. clap.gif
