I have!! here's a copied post I made on a similar thread a few months ago..............
It would have been about 1973, as a young lad of probably about 13 years old, I was at Cadwell eagerly hunting autographs in the paddock, as I walked up from the old cafe to the top paddock I spotted him strolling along on his own, there he was, one of my hero's walking down the hill towards me!!
I whipped out my autograph book and as he approached I politely held out my book and pen and asked if I could have his autograph, he stopped, stared at me for a second, then said, 'no, go and wait at my van with everyone else' he then stepped around me and walked off, its not as if he was about to go out on track, or was in any hurry to go anywhere, it was just downright rudeness.
I went home that day and took his poster off my bedroom wall, unfortunately people remember things like that for the rest of their lives,
