I’m thinking of going to the British GP for the Saturday only. Does anyone know what the schedule is and the support races? Any advice about the best seating locations?

Pretty much anywhere seating wise is good at Silverstone. Prices might be a bit steep or in short supply seeing as it's only six weeks away.

Silverstone is one of the few grand prix circuits that gives so much trackside access even on a general admission ticket. So you will have a good time regardless of how much you're willing to fork out. If you don't get a grandstand ticket, head to Maggots corner (especially for qualifying). The cars are pushed to the absolute limit there. Great to watch.

The main support race on the Saturday will be the GP2 feature race straight after qualifying. Other than that I haven't a clue.
