This gentleman, is probalby my favorite of what I call the Foyt era hold-overs, although he did not start in indy cars till the very end of roadsters.
He was quite capable of piloting a Indy car around a road course, including a third in Japan.
Does anyone have/ know more about his driving outside of Indy cars?

I did find that he beat such notable as Jerry Richert, Johnny Rutherford and Johnny White to win the 1962 Little 500.
That race used to draw some big names.

All I have, kind of by the numbers, on Arnie Knepper is that he finished 7th in USAC Sprint Car points in '64 and '66 and is listed as having 6 USAC Midget wins.
He ran the Champ Dirt series in the early 70's, but I don't have info handy on it.
Oh, I know a bit about Arnie (& Chuck Gurney!) - sorry, but I can't read your questions!
