WTF?
Presumably Lewis should get some kind of penalty in the next race for this?
Somewhat poetic that it should be Sutil, whose car problems triggered the safety car that triggered the incident that lead to Kimi being punted up the arse, given that Kimi punted Sutil's arse at the last race.

Kimi stopped because of the red light at the end of the pitlane to wait for the train of cars to go through. Lewis wasn't paying attention and crashed into Kimi. Cock of the race ? Lewis Hamilton

Stupid mistake, on the assumption that LH could see the red light. Or that McLaren told him.
But it should never have happened, as the safety car is an excrescence on the "sport".

Actually, looking at Rosberg's in-car, he would have ploughed into everyone as well, had Lewis not obligingly shifted Kimi out of the way.

Why aren`t you calling for a race ban now?

One race ban for LH would be good for ignoring red light and crashing out his title rival.

Alot of drivers made that mistake before...infact Rosberg did one at the same time and place.......

Well to be fair he did miss one car. The one without his biggest rival, seems he can see red after all.
I know how he feels, I've done that. You don't half feel like a plonker afterwards
And Heidfeld already has an 8 second lead!

Well - you do, you're also saying that Rosberg is a moron, a fucking retard. Because Rosberg made the same mistake, at the same place, at the same time. Strangely, though, I don't expect Rosberg to be on the receiving end of the same sort of vitriolic, vile, racist anger that permeates this forum.

There's nothing racist in that statement.

Montreal is a dumb race - they deploy a SC at every instance - Hamilton's 6 sec disappears and then he doesn't pay attention in the excitement to be ahead . Even in 2007, Canada GP was the turning point for Mclaren's year - Alonso was fucked with the SC and then the slide begun.

I'm amazed that neither McLaren nor Williams notified their drivers that the lights were red... What a numpty mistake. Incident to be investigated post-race, according to the telly.

Funnily enough there were loads of people willing to crucify Kimi for his ruining Sutil´s race but now it seems that no-one can blame Lewis. If someone tries to criticise him, he is a bigot or a racist or sumthin obnoxious
Lewis brushed his shoulders royally and look where arrogance got him - he should feel really bad (which I believe he does).

Note the difference between the situation after Monaco, where the stewards only looked at it after a protest. Luca's retreat worked then.

Monumental blunder by Hamilton. But it happens. Pick up Senna, Schumacher, Alonso - or Räikkönen. Everybody screws up now and then. I don´t think fans of other drivers should smash Lewis into ground. Next time it could be
your favourite driver doing smth dumb. Good lesson for Hammy, too; first win the race, THEN talk big.
Whether LH made the choice to crash into KR instead of RK, we´ll never know.

Stands to reason, doesn't it? If he's told the lights are on red he's not going to rush to them.
And imagine if he had stopped in time. Nico would have pushed him into Kimi. Then what would this board have said? I'm guessing there would be less vitriol, for a start.

Hamilton did two mistakes:
Crash into Raikkonens back - Can be considered racing accident, no penalty.
Ignore a red light - He should get a penalty for that. He clearly ignored a F1 rule.
Anyway FIA will leave Hamilton without punishment as usual.

No, he would have stopped at the red light. Just that someone was parked in front of him.
