Swanny Weeden,McGregor, Gary Padgett, Andy Mac, to name a few, & Trev Nation enjoying himself & entertaining the crowd at the same time!! up.gif To save you like me trying to find your way to it, here is the link.

2 mins and 45 seconds to 2 mins and 50 seconds, me with one of Mick Grants GSXR's behind Nigel Everett with the other bike. Jeeez, it was hot there, we stood under a cold shower with our clothes on so the evaporation would cool us, by the time we got to the pits, a couple of hundred yards, we were dry again!

Dammit ! Just got up and thought I would be allowed to get this one , but pipped ! I agree with B-17, definitely franco-australian Vic Soussan ( that we discussed a little while ago ) in the lead . This must be at a relatively late stage in his carrer, when he made a deal to run under George Beale's colours . Previously his sponsors were mostly french.

Looks to me like Eric Saul at a late stage of his (first) career ...after his last seasons aboard the Chevallier bikes ( 1980/81 ? ) he was without a "proper" ride but he still loved the sport so much that he could not make the decision to quit...he dabbled for a few years , mostly aboard "garagiste" one-off italian bikes aboard which he had no success at all , I remember the unlikely 250 Comoth and ( if I'm right) even this 125 LGM . Hope I'm not making a fool of myself there !

Oh, I say, well done. clap.gif clap.gif clap.gif
Yes it´s dear old Duddles. Very underrated rider who should have achieved far more in his racing career. He didn´t endear himself on the British short circuit scene I believe, but I feel he would have been better suited to the European type of racing. BTW, any idea when and where?

I was going to say Eric, but I couldn´t remember him on a 125, so I kept quiet. But I think you are right. Certainly looks like him and I know he had a similar pair of leathers.
