I think it's the Rugby Sheene fun run day in 2005. It's not Mr Sheene, it's not Maggie behind and if it is this event this bloke attended and piccies were taken of him. I was there looking after two 500's for Mr Parish and Mr Grant, (top piccie if you follow the link below). Steve was up to his usual joking around by getting me to arrange the plug leads were shorted on the chassis to give Grunty a shock while he was riding his 500.

Paul, at the time it was said by the Rugby organisers that those two 1976 and 1977 spec factory machines that you worked on originated from Barry's personal collection, and that Stephanie had accepted that they would be shipped back to Britain and used for various events . If that is the case, then those same two machines are pictured in the links below in their previous Gold Coast home, one "ridden" by me 
, the other one by someone that needs no introduction ( and no, it's not Mr Bradley )

I saw this guy at Stafford & it really does make you "stare". A double take in the true sense.
Does a good job I suppose keeping the great mans memory "Alive".
I assume he was employed by Suzuki for the show.

Bonjour Michel, good to see you back. Yes something weird about operating as a lookalike for someone so recently gone.
I looked at the photo and thought it was "The Captain" (or whatever he called himself with his platoon), strange, very strange taste.
I honestly think that it's the height of bad taste.
Many people have look a likes in "Showbiz", Marilyn Monroe, Sinatra etc etc, and are often used in adds, magazine shoots TV progs, etc...but they look like the person as they were when at the height of their fame, not like this guy impersonating Barry in his last years of life, I too find THAT the distasteful bit, if he looked like Barry in the 1970's, that would not be so creepy in my opinion.

Chaps I need your help Unable to locate my Daytona progs I think I know this specimen and bike . I am fairly sure we were next to him on the grid in the first 25 in the '200' in 1983 Any ideas ??? I have one of his team 't's which I swapped with one of his 'mecs --don't think it'll fit now Which says ' Motorcycle Performance Center Texas' on the back which would fit in with the Stetsons . Any ideas ???
