Well, sort of. It felt really weird but still went round corners real fast. We had to fit longer rear units and drop the forks through as far as possible to try and increase the ground clearance to accommodate slicks. Still not enough though as you will see from second shot which was caused by the clutch cover grounding.

The bike belonged to Joe Henderson as you can see.

I'll take a wild guess at Stu Collins in the chair . Don't recognize the paint job but its unusual being a suzuki rg engied outfit something at the beck of my mind says Jeff Gawley coz Mac Hobson is too obvious wave.gif

Ah yes, Herring fettled it - or at least at one stage did ? I've always thought that they looked too long and low, with the rider perched on top as it where. The post Mk 2 frames all gave the same impression ?

Not out of jail yet, Russell ! Who's the mystery punter on the Chat Yam #10 ? Is it Theo Bult ?

and then your last comments .......

If you have a personnal account to settle with Stu Avant may I respectfully suggest that you settle it outside of this forum. If you're just going to hide yourself under another alias and making vicious hints that add nothing to the debate it's not going to be very useful. I personnaly value to a high level the fact of being able to chat on this forum with people that, as a fan, I saw on the track a few decades ago, wether at Grand Prix level like Stu, Murray, Jeff or Steve Chambers , or at the local national race like Barry "Knickerbrook" Needle . And I honestly can't be bothered with personal resentments ruining the fun we're having .

And sorry if I cause offence, english is not my mothertongue

Is this the same bike as in the Tubbergen pic? I found a 1970 programme with Sheene entered on a Bultaco -Yam and here there appears to be an expansion chamber and tail pipe on the left of the bike- not so in other pic. So, TD/R2 engine slotted in a TSS frame ?
HEMEYLA
Barry raced five bikes in 1970, 2 Bultaco's, one for the 350 and one for 500cc class, and a Yamaha in the 250, they all look much the same but the 250 is not a TTS framed bike i.m.o.

And in the 125cc class a Bultaco and the ex works (Stuart Graham) Suzuki.

The Tubbergen pic is the 500cc class Bultaco (360cc).
Russell Burrows

Perhaps a few more....1970 shot on the 750 Norton.
