Hi Dennis, yep I reckon Mick Andrew as well, he used to have a green helmet with two narrow stripes. I thought from afar that he was a prodigious talent, apparently he was killed testing a roadbike not far from the shop, a great shame.

Yes, from the left boss Vincent Davey, first guy in leathers Mick Andrew, Tom Dickie, Charlie Sanby and Pat Mahoney. All gone except Tom, but none due to racing accidents.....

i just dont understand this,we all have great fun reminissing over our past exploits,why do some people have to spoil it?,what harm are we doing?,most of the time we remember those not with us any more,racers who paid the ultimate price for the sport they loved.
in my fairly long racing career i saw some awfull accidents at circuits including the i.o.man.
but i remember them all with love of the men/boys who are still in our thoughts(and yes i do mean love)

Really struggle to understand that pair of sad excuses, they've popped up on the netrider.net.au forum since last time they were evicted and turned that into a venom fest as well. Anyway why waste space on 'em, on with the rose-tinted grins, I reckon. Dennis, I bought a Gary Nixon t-shirt a while back, and was surprised to find it was Gary Nixon himself at the keyboard ! Recently I sent him a nice pic I found (well, pirated) of him and Sheeney posing on a pair of TR750s inside the front straight of Daytona before the 1975 race. In the return acknowledgement, he said " Barry and I had some cool times together - we had Ago covered !" Somehow I doubt he was talking about the racing....

Hi Phil I'll start with the obvious one , Barry Woodland , Daytona about 81 . The guy leaning over the tank looks a bit like Alex Bedford

Just had a rethink and the bike looks very much like Stu Avant's (Eastern Airways)
