It really has all got rather silly IMHO, take it back to small teams, a Transit Van and a trailer, rider and mechanic, this applies to F1 also, gee, I remember when the complete team of two cars came in a converted Duple Coach and the cooking was on Calor gas! Cubic money now, clinical, corporate, but most of all, boring for spectators. I am an enthusiast and it puts me to sleep, what chance has the casual punta got? This applies to Bikes, F1 and WRC Rallying, well done to the powers that be!

Graham and the "crew" from all the 2 wheel threads, I sometimes go to a club in Norfolk, where the terrific organisers have some really great characters from our great history of motorsport, names such as Jackie Oliver and John Miles (ex F1 Lotus GP drivers) Jack Sears ( team mate to Jim Clark in Team Lotus) David Brodie (Run Baby Run Escort) and many, many others. On Wednesday, 25th March, a certain Colin Seeley will be in the chair, if any of you good lads are interested in attending, pm me for details (entrance by ticket only, strict allocation, hurry!)

Thanks for the kind words. That photo was taken in June of 2006 at a AHRMA race. The class is the "SOS (Sounds of Singles)-2 Stroke". Basicly it is a bunch of RS125s and a couple TZ125s. No limit of the model year so I probably had the oldest bike on the grid. A bunch of post 2K RSs! My TZ isn't the fastest for sure, but that is not it's limiting factor. In this case it's the rider.

Oh bu**er, that's several of my new years resolutions gone already:-

1. To be more positive,
2. To not think all politicians are complete ar*****es,
3. To stop bl***y swearing,
4. To believe that those in control of racing regulations know what they are doing,
5. To believe that I will win the Lottery and run a strokers only race series all round the world.

Mind you I'd be surprised if I won the Lottery, I don't do it.
