What great pics Mick, such memory joggers for me, I used to go to Club and National meets 10 or 12 times a year in 1976 & 1977, mostly Brands or Snetterton. ambivalent.gif up.gif

To come back to the "reverse cylinders" TZ , we in France tend to claim that the first try at this concept was the home built special of Gérard Choukroun in 1975 , built by the late Phil Berthelin. But I'm sure someone will come up with an earlier attempt by someone else wink.gif Anyway, for those who care, and courtesy of Bike 70 , a scan of a period article

I remember that bike Philippe. Gerard didnt have the success I thought he would with it, even though it was very quick. A lot of small problems, as well as quite a bad habit of nipping up, if I recall correctly,

by contrast its bloody hot here even tonite, 40 deg at work today.My young fellas said to me it was to hot to work..i put on a jacket and scarf and offered to help!! They then just worked on with the sure knowledge that I had crashed and hit my head to often lol.gif
