Can Hamilton do anything? It already looks like Kimi's got this sewn up unless he's running light (and I don't think he is). Great 1st few laps but I fear a procession.
Where is the rain?
Hamilton spun at the beginning?

SPEED showed a brief on-board. Looked like Hamilton did a half-spin at La Source(?). That's when Kimi caught up...

I can't get into live timing, either.
Hamilton was running very light.

Apparently Kimi light as well. Or some odd strategies being played out.

Will someone please shoot Kovalainen, what a tosser. Has he/McLaren decided to ignore the drive-through?
No, Live Timing is dead timing at the moment. Doesn't work on either of my computers, so it's neither an Apple nor a PC thing.
Mine say "Java Applet Failed"

Merciless racing by Ferrari boys on lap 1...KR dramatically fast through Eau Rouge
This is proper F1 GP - passing for position, no way to predict everything after Q3.

Live timing is off and on as it pleases, obviously they have bandwidth problems.
Of course, as it is a "free" service, don´t expect Bernie to do anything about it.
Oh Piquet, start with wets and then still spins the car...

Commanding lead by Kimi, already 5,7 secs. It seems Spa truly belongs to him.
Despite conditions the only thing that may stop him is mechanical...

Again Heidfeld disappoints as compared to Kubica. the pressure is getting to him.

Stop! You'll curse him!
Has not been a good year for Ferrari reliability-wise. Don't encourage the gremlins.

Amazingly bad showing by Toyota. Trulli is losing even 1 sec per lap to Sutil in the ForceIndia!!
What is it with them, so inconsistent.

The irony is that rain may set in again in the last ten laps, so interesting call on strategies!
Right now the track is completely dry

Terrible weekend.
Perfect race for Kimi so far and good job for Hamilton.
He fucked up early on, too bad, but he still has decent points gap to the Ferraris.
Massa so so.

Bourdais and Kubica pit at the same time. Bourdais comes out just ahead and then begins to slowly pull away.

How many laps to go?
McLaren is much better on hard tires so it's obvious Hamilton will be closing the gap but I don't think he's able to overtake Raikkonen. He lost the race by that stupid spin. Actually, he was extremely lucky he lost only one position because of that.

Yet,the championship looks very bright for Lewis, considering the positions remain till the end.
Massa only 6,2 behind has chances in case anything goes wrong in front...

Slghtly unlucky to lose any place.
Phenomenal first couple of laps from Kimi more than makes up for his woeful quailfying and makes him a likely race winner.
Bad error from Hamilton costs him, but with Massa being kept behind he ought not to be too upset.
Massa seemingly struggling for race pace, but coming good in the last stint - too little too late?
Awful from Kova, although the penalty seems harsh. It was definitely Kova's fault, but if this was the standard for everyone, how has DC not had about 12 drive throughs this season?
Could be a great last few laps but can't help but feel they'll all maintain station.

Kimi´s car sure looks "clumsy" on hard tyres. That fast turn-in you´ll need at Spa is pretty much gone. We´ll see if he can hold Lewis; it is possible thing might settle down once tyre temps rise.

Usual situation, McLarens like cool weather, Ferrari like it hot.
Hamilton especially will be generating loads of heat in his fronts.
Watch Kubica's lap times too.
