Unbeleivable. This is pure politics. Crazy stuff, but thats how the sport has operated for years. Bernie and Max:)

fucking joke
This is just disgusting. I'm disgusted. This whole WDC is a fix. Massa did nothing to deserve the win. I want to cry.

BS
Penalised for racing, this is utterly pathetic

Sep 7 2008, 16:15
This is shocking.
Speechless to be honest...
I hope an appeal is possible.
I've always said the FIA aren't Ferrari biased. Hell, I even managed to prove Renault bias in 2005/6.
But when they don't penalise Massa for breaking a rule, then penalise Hamilton for not doing so it's getting very difficult to argue against the FIArrari trolls even when you'd quite like to see Massa win a title.

OK, fuck you FIA. Fuck you, Max.
This is the biggest disgrace since the Tyrrell stitch-up.
What a complete fucking joke. How can anyone compete with Ferrari? The whole thing is self-evidently rigged for them.
A total and utter disgrace and fix. There is no chance whatsoever that this is on the level.
Im a kimi fan and lewis cant portray himself as being a clean driver cmon!! everyone whos on the limit cant tell us he hasnt done any dirty tactics on the track.
Hope kimi supports massa

I am Spanish, i dislike Hamilton but i think that penalty is pure bullshit. Ham did an amazing end of race, an amazing overtaking on Kimi and deserved the victory.
What kind of sport is this. It is fucking disgusting. They can as well hand the ferari the championship. It is ridiculous...no need of watching this mess again
Only Massa
Sep 7 2008, 16:17
Justice has been done.
Lewis is simply stupid. He should have settled for second and cruise behind Raikkonen, looking for precious championship points.
But he decided to act like an unfair and unsporting moron (that's McLaren's way of life) and try to snatch an undeserved win. It was a stupid ego-driven gamble.
In the end he lost.
Hamilton lacks maturity and strategic intelligence to be champion. And his team is not doing him any good, forcing him to ultra-win instead of winning when it matters.
But it makes the championship more close so is justified! It does make you wonder if roles had been reversed whether Ferrari would have got the same punishment of course....
Mclaren need to change their name and colour scheme and put on Italian accents

I wonder what the thread count for this one will be. Who are Mclaren going to appeal to? The mob who handed them the penalty? No chance of it getting through. Hamilton fans must be shattered.

Bye bye F1.
Beyond ludicrous.
I think its justice done also (I'm no Ferrari fan, Kimi fan yes). Reviewing the footage, Lewis chose to cut the chicane... he didn't have to. He cut it so he wouldn't lose as much time. Thats my opinion.

It is a fair decision. The same that has been taken in equivalent situations in the past.
Sorry fanboys, this is called objectivity.

This is a disgrace. The FIA need to be thrown out as they are demonstrating again and again that they are clearly corrupt.

I prefer Massa to win more points, but there was no reason to penalise Hamilton today.

OUTRAGEOUS!!!
How can that possiably be true, i hope mclare appeales and geths the FIA permanant stweard banned for good!!!
Worst desision EVER!!!!!
Ouch. One could think it is Bernie and FiA at it, to make the championship close.
I didn't like how the entire move was executed, including Raikonnens stuff. However I'd thought if they are going to hand out penalties, then they would opt for a grid penalty at the next race.
Buttoneer
Sep 7 2008, 16:18
I'm disappointed they didn't hand him a Monza-pleasing grid penalty though.
I think mclaren should just withdraw from the remaining races this season. There is no need of competing because it is just a fix. No need, no need at all

FIA did the proper thing and gave a deserved penalty.
I think neutrals in this matter should be heard rather than pro Ferrari or McLaren so hopefully they will post their thoughts.

Why Hamilton has to be sanctioned here whereas Massa shouldn't two weeks ago?
Astonishing. I've always think they are not biased but this is the kind of thing, as you said, which makes you think.

I already have.
Ferrari, along with Max Mosley are the dirtiest!
When all you Lewis fanboys calm down you will see that this was good for the sport. F1 has to have some basic unwritten rules. F1 is all about sportmanship and when MS was given penalties I agreed with them even though I was sad. This had to happen for the good of the sport.

How is this justice? The guy he was fighting against spun out and crashed... so the chicane incident that Kimi caused is completely irrelevant. If anything Kimi should have been penalised for weaving and deliberately forcing Hamilton off the road.

This is why Ferrrari fans argued for 100's of pages in favour of Max in the Max topic during Spankgate. :\
Harsh penalty imo and I didn't like the move I think it was dirty but harsh penalty!

I dont even understand what he did wrong? Cars often cut chicanes and just give position back? The corrupt nature of this penatly is hard to hide its quite blatant even for the FIA who we all know are no better than the mafia. Great for the Wc though.
I guess we have to assume the stewards had access to telemetry that showed Hamilton gained an advantage. It looked fair from the ITV coverage.
I hope they publish their reasoning.
