I'm trying to find some contact details for Pierre Mion if he is still with us, who race formula Junior (stranguellini and cooper) and sports cars (AC ace) in the USA in the late 50's and early 60's.

A quick google shows he was SCCA EProd champ in '59; CProd in '61, both in the pre-Runoffs era.

You might try contacting John Mclellan - he wrote the book on AC Bristol Racing (ISBN 0 9534680 0 3) and has quite a bit of info on Mion. Phone 10235 522561 in the UK

Came across this while looking for something else

Car and Driver February 1965

I never figured the racer and the artist were one and the same.

Seems as if P.M. is a real Renaissance man!

After a few problems, I got in touch Pierre Mion. Yes he had owned and raced the car I was chasing it was his first foray into car racing as he had come from a background with bikes.
What a wonderful chap with a great memory and even better photo album.
