Hi everybody.
Many months ago I started playing around with a computer game engine (Sphere), but couldnt figure out a theme for the game. Most games made with this engine are 2d games where the character wanders around a forest/caves etc... interacting with the creatures they found.
Then it hit me - a game where you wander around the Formula 1 paddock.
Why not?
So here it is. Maxmaster. 3.2Mb.


I can understand Bernie being a character in a game, but Mario Thiessen?? Mike Gascoyne?? sheesh...

Okay, i have downloaded it, how do I get it to work?

All I needed to do was unzip it, and run maxmaster.exe.

I did that, but all I got was "Error: Could not initiate video subsystem"

It becomes so funny when you start to lose your credibility

So bad there is no multiplayer mode.

Probably not too far away from the truth.

If anyone else has downloaded this game be careful. If you put a shortcut on your desktop it will give you a 25s penalty.

Gosh, I finished the game at high score 109,207 in less than last year's pole time, 1.01:42. I'm very impressed!

Well, its not like I wrote it, so I cant patch it for you... but I did a few google searches and found someone else who had the same problem running this game engine, and the game engine developers showed them how to fix it.
And you do want to fix it.
Its stupidly funny.

I get this trying to run it on my vista system, but works fine on my xp system. Cant help fix it, but may help you narrow down the issue..

Cool game, reminds me of old C64 games Not too difficult, but is there no end to the game? After level 11 it starts over again...
