I was using Google Earth Plus yesterday to see what sort of radar tracking was available for Europe (some as the case may be) and I noticed a lot of "stuff" in the Monza paddock area. The date says "April 2006" but to me it looks very much like the current F1 motorhome row. Does anyone have a current layout for the paddock? If this isn't F1 then who's paddock is this?

Thanks for any input.

well, just yesterday i checked monza's pictures in google earth and you can actually spot a car in rettifilo, there's seems to be one there in the starting grid, definitely not formula cars. anyway, the 2nd of April 2006, there was a WTCC event in Monza, so that must be it.

Yes, WTCC sounds like a likely candidate,
Yellow=SEAT
White=BMW
Red=Alfa

Even if F1 would also fit in there in 2006 (at least for the first 3 trucks smile.gif)
Yellow=Renault (no 1 in 2005)
White/Silver=McLaren
Red=Ferrari

Thanks! The WTCC does fit. Those top two motorhomes still look like McLaren and the Taj Maylla to me but then again I am near sighted. smile.gif

If you zoom in closer, you can see people in the pitlane...

Scudetto
According to MonzaNet the WTCC was held April 1-2, 2006
