Hi All
Thought we could have a thread to discuss the race as it happens?
Safety Car start........should they delay the race for 1/2 hour instead?......Seems a dangerous place to be racing in the wet.....
Will all the cars survivie the safety car period?....
Should be an intersting race...

I loved how Massa nearly lost it on the lap to the grid.... That should be quite a race!

SPPED TV just said that Charlie Whiting has instructed the drivers that there is a "one corner" rule after cutting a chicane... Must give up the position, then wait one corner before racing again.

I see hammy has been cutting chicanes again

So far all drivers doing fantastic job. The conditions are truly horrible; if you think TV cams make it look like visibility is poor, in real life it´s twice as bad.

Why it's taking so long for Kimi to pass Fisico?! DC managed to do it in 4 laps.
Vettel is flying!

Hamilton's move on Fisichella is perfect example of his boorish driving. Another one against Glock! You can't do that!

And MASSA "cuts" the chicane to pass Rosberg!

Dominicelli already went on record saying their car simply doesn´t work too well on wet.
I think drying conditions are Kimi´s chance; save the tyres, attack later.
Great racing by Hamiton, Räikkönen and Fisichella

It looked like Massa only had 2 wheels on kerbs. No cutting?
I _do_ believe we need physical penalty for using the run-off areas.
(no, I don´t mean ze punishment...more like abrasive tarmac, more bumps, etc.

Not that I'm wishing this on him, but surely Bourdais should be dsq for having received a push from his crew during the race, since they had omitted the formation lap and the race was technically underway at that point?

I'm actually his fan last season, unfortunately, this season he drives like a mediocore driver, and not up to the task at all.

I'm not sure how the rules define it, to be honest, but certainly that lap was the first lap of the race according to the FOM lap counter, and the formation lap was omitted.

Not sure either. I guess they could argue they were pushing the car out of "harm's way".
