Sorry UPRC but I've been recently dragged onto a GP02 season and all I want is it ends before I decide to go AWOL for the first time ever!
Mostly for the same reasons Maka stated...

But we'll setup an Atlasholics private as soon as F1 2010 is released I am sure!

My chances in GP2 (unless the settings are altered in a private game to give me a quick enough car) always seem to hinge on me NOT having to be the team-mate with a testing trait. If I do have to use one, I almost always end up having loads of suspiciously 'unlucky' races and finishing 13th in the points or something. So if there's anybody out there who scores wins for fun in GP2 with a testing trait, get in touch and we can team up at some point. Instant drivers' and teams' championship double, I assure you.

I did win my first private title in BATracer in GP2 recently while using one, admittedly, but again, I did have a big car advantage over much of the field.

Heh, I waited for ages to get the Mac drive... The Williams was available to me quite early, but I decided to gamble a bit as signup seemed to go slow. I just felt I needed to have a second drive going when Breadmaster's (fixed corrupt cheating) game finishes tomorrow. Even as I'm actually tired of the F1 games!

Alright, someone tell me im not going mad. Did they rerun some of the races that happened BEFORE the server crapped itself? I dont remember them doing that before. Infact I remember being screwed a few times coz it went down before I picked up a teammates settings, and I couldnt get back on untill after the race went.

I had to redo a Warmup session so I guess some races could have been lost as well when the backup was loaded but that's just a guess... Not very helpful I know...

One 09 GP of mine was lost, take two is in 90 minutes. I'm very interested to see if the weather and whatnot develops the same way as the first time.

Im not complaining, it worked out better for me the 2nd time.

Just to let you know Mak, my 1st race was full wet and went dry after about 20 laps. the re-run was wet all the way.

Funny that Nast, the weathers were exactly like that in my double GP (Barcelona) as well! Sadly, my result went totally the other way. P5 became P17.

It happens one of my races was redone as well, just realised that whilst saving it. Instead of a lap 1 DNF I finished 7th from 19th so really completely different.

Lol, fine, I'll be involved in the Atlas game again. You'd better let me have a Ferrari/Merc/McLaren/Red Bull though. I'm still soothing myself from only getting a Toro Rosso for my first ever 2010 game due to the mad scrum to get a plum seat, lol.

I'm in a private GP2 game at the moment modified to resemble the 1996 F1 season (including in terms of different cars' level of competitiveness - we're at the sign-up stage at the mo'). 1996 F1 season (based around GP2 carset)

This is a GP2 game using the F1 1996 teams, with differing respective levels of performance. Just one Forti seat remains. We need that last sign-up BADLY now, so please feel free to join in. This is an ongoing series since the '93 season and before then, it was in the form of a series of custom GP2 and F1 '86 games, so you'll be in a position to hopefully get a better drive for our '97 game if you sign up for '96.

Daft question. Once a weekend has passed, so you cant check the prac and warmup session links, is there any way to tell if someone has logged on and/or done runs?

The reason I ask is Im stuck with a teammate who never looks like he runs a session yes his setup % is always the same as mine. The few sessions he ran he always left till the last minute, which was like 3am my time, so barring prac sessions I could never see if he actually ran laps, coz the weekend had ticked over to the next race by the time i logged on.

Its too late to muck about with sackings now, and i know i can hide setups etc... but it seems wierd that hed log on, take my setup, and yet not run his own laps to improve it.

Sounds like he doesn't know how to set-up and just copying yours. Usually the pricks who test late actually know what they are doing. Then again, he might be testing anyway on ridiculous values (still within your ranges though) but finding your practice time is faster so just goes with your set-up. I would ask if he needs any help setting up the car because he's obviously not taking advantage of your values, merely copying them. If no reply and he's continuing the same track, block or sack and if you sack don't listen to his pleas as its not worth listening when chances are you'll just be duped out of a sacking option.

It used to be you could check practice/warm up times of old races but to save on bandwidth Jules took it away.

Im pretty sure this guy knows what hes doing. Been around for 2 years, had some semi-decent results. I just find it all a bit odd. Hes only got a few comments, but theyre all good (does have a fair few sacker and sackees though), but the few times ive said something in team chat besides just posting setups hes never responded back.
Im always a bit cautious with having a go at/sacking a guy for sniper testing when we are on opposite sides of the world, or for not responding when theyre possibly not english speakers. It might bust be a shitty tick over time for him...happens to me sometimes.

Anyway like i said, weve only got 1 race left now...it took me too long to work out if he was sniper testing, or stupid, or a noob or whatever, coz I could never get a look at those old sessions.

Keeping the most recent sessions available for a few days longer would really be preferrable imo, to have at least some data to form an opinion from when there's an objected sacking coming up. You typically don't pay much attention to what other teams do in the sessions otherwise, so when a sacking comes up you're often quite clueless.

Whenever you guys start another Atlas season, I'll be happy to join
