You sent the request on the 17th, I accepted on the 20th so yeah. lol.gif
Breadmaster
ha ha ha!

Hello mate!

I'm afraid I've taken your crash or glory method to heart and just can't shake the habit now!
Zippel
That winning feeling is addictive. biggrin.gif

Though I always prided myself on being consistent, trying to reduce errors. Was happy to finish on the podium if it didn't destroy my drivers champ chances ;)

That BAT7 season we teamed in still haunts me bit . I was leading by 8 points going into the last race and the conditions went from dry to terrible within the first few laps, my rival having problems but pitting for wets while the safety car was out.... ahh, never liked that set. lol.gif

You must be doing alright for yourself, being an A1 Cup champ and all. up.gif
BorderReiver
Arrrghhh!

I've fallen back into this. F'ck is it addictive!
Breadmaster
oh yes!

Mwahahahahahahahahaha!
Rob
Are we going to start a new game soon?
KWSN - DSM
I am in on the next one.

Vacation is over and I am fired up roaring to go.

There's a private 2008 F1 game looking for some players

game 36848
no password
Breadmaster
I'll give that one a swerve - already have an F1'08 game at the moment and don't like to double up....
Chicken McNuggets
There's also an F1 1986 private game which I've just joined, #36935, which only has four signed up at the moment. Just trying to spread the word round to anyone...

Any password for it?
Chicken McNuggets
Yes, I'd meant to come back and post that... the password is Gear Box
BorderReiver
Rightio, I'm in smile.gif.
panzani
Some of us have joined V8 Supercars 2006 public game #37195 just for the fun of it...wink.gif
Gilles4Ever
The game that was the nightmare that advanced only every 72 hours that no-one owned has been deleted. So, is there any interest in a private F1-2008 game that will be unmodified and advance every 24 hours?

I certainly would be!
Breadmaster
Alas - I have no free private slots at the moment.....will pop back here when I do though in the hope the game is still open...
KWSN - DSM
I am in if it gets started.

Players will need to be registered and logged in before they can enter the private game. When logged in, clicking the following URL will take you to the join game page:

http://batracer.com/-cj?&D&37299

Alternatively, you can select "private games" from the menu and enter the number "37299" into the box. The game password is "AtlasF1". Take care not to accidentally join a public game by mistake.
panzani
You forgot to say, Gilles, top clan players should not join top 3 teams...wink.gif
panzani
As in BR and Ferrari...

I thought I joined BMW?

And am I a top clan player?

I'm flattered!

smile.gif
panzani
Yes, we are top 2 in clan, BR -- and this obviously means the Clan is well below average, of course.wink.gif

And you were not advised by the new Clan Leader it seems, so you are forgiven, even though still a motherfuckah cherrypicah from last choices you've made... roflmao.gif
Gilles4Ever
theres still decent drives available, Renault, Red Bull and Torro Roso so don't be shy

http://batracer.com/-cj?&D&37299
The game password is "AtlasF1".
panzani
Besides, if you never tried it, just join batracer and do this game with us. You'll get addicted, I must warn, though...wink.gif

With 11 competitors already signed up, we do still need a minimum of three more competitors signed up for this one in the next few hours, otherwise it deletes itself, I think. Again, the password is Gear Box (Edit: Just half an hour now!)
Gilles4Ever
our F1 2008 game needs a few more players so if anyone wants to join please do so, there are still cars that you can win in, Red Bulls, Toro Rossos and if you really good, Hondas. I'll start the game without Force India or Super Aguri if there aren't enough players.

If you cant play, please recommend the game to friends and family.

The game password is "AtlasF1".
Breadmaster
If you can't win in a Super Aguri you're not trying!

Won a race in a '86 Lola this weekend - so pleased with myself!
Chicken McNuggets
I'm still only fairly new to Batracer and have just qualified a Force India on the second row at Hockenheim (in my first race in it, having replaced a sacked driver mid-season, with the team having scored only 2 points all year thus far), so I'm kinda getting started in that direction, actually.wink.gif

Well, okay, yes, it is only Academy level anyway. Sheesh. The other day, though, I did notice somebody gloating on the Batracer Forum for having won a wet-weather race in a '97 Lola with astonishing ease...

A few factors could have contributed to that:

- The easiest being they had the characteristic Wet Weather Warrior.
- They took a punt on the rain affecting the race from a 'bone dry' start and had a wet set-up. http://batracer.com/-ua?20900 (The first GTS race in the link is a perfect example of dumb luck with a wet set-up)
- The Lola car I get the feeling is good in the wet anyway, sort of an incentive in choosing it.
- The Bridgestone wets might be superior to the Goodyears in the 97 set but haven't had the opportunity to try for myself yet.
Gilles4Ever
Crap cars are usually good in the wet (at least in the recent F1 games), I think is a glimmer of hope that Jules has programmed in. Super Aguris can win races when its wet or changeable.
Gilles4Ever
We have 16 players, if anyone else wants to join it needs to be soon as I am starting the game tis evening. Honda, Super Aguri and Force India are available

http://batracer.com/-cj?&D&37299
The game password is "AtlasF1".
dank
Just joined under Honda - god forbid! :\
Gilles4Ever

I'm maxed out with my three (public, mid-season, private) right now. It makes me wonder whether using the option to publicise my site on Batracer as a way of gaining KT may be a decent idea. I doubt I'd be able to live with more than three games running at a time, but at least I'd have a tad more flexibility with the numbers of simultaneous private and public games I can toy with.

And yes, I think that Zippel's first and third points at the very least were eventually established on the thread there.

I think my team mate's keyboard is broken, or he's very shy lol.gif

Here goes with my attempt to get a private F1 1997 game going.

Ahoy hoy!

is my favourite cherry, the Lola, still available?

smile.gif
KWSN - DSM
Sign up sign up every one sign up!!!!!!!

I am finally in a potentially championship winnig car, I need the series to get off the ground.

cool.gif
Chicken McNuggets
Lol, well I'm rapidly discovering myself the nature of this rat-race scrum which always seems to occur the second entries open in the few public games. stoned.gif And yes, at least one of each car were all still available, the last time I checked. Oddly enough, I'm trying the Lola right now in a public game, the loveable little runt of a racer that it is. lol.gif My team-mate never seems to do any runs, though. I have no idea why he's not enthusiastic, or maybe he's hiding his testing of it from me...
Zippel
Ah what the hell, I'll join your game. lol.gif lol.gif

Don't do many random private games anymore... and the number on the car is right.wink.gif
Chicken McNuggets
And you're outgunning me in practice in that thing already. Academy title aside, there's worryingly growing evidence that I'm turning into a BATracing Fisichella. eek.gif

**Wipes sweat off brow on noticing world ranking**
Zippel
Practice doesn't mean much, merely luck on a clean lap or two and a chance decent set-up. It takes a bit of time to get up to speed in consistently challenging for titles, knowing what works and what doesn't and realising what to do in some circumstances. Though some games become quite a mystery regardless, my latest BAT7 for example. lol.gif

But if you become another Fisichella, there is no shame in it. Many of us love it when the teammate is on side.wink.gif

And my WR won't mean jack when this car keeps breaking down, which I suspect will be the case. biggrin.gif
panzani
Welcome to Atlasholics, Zippel. smile.gif
Zippel
Thanks. smile.gif
Chicken McNuggets
20 are signed up now, with just both the Minardis and Lolas still to be filled. We want the finest quality field possible before we start, so come forth and sign up, any waverers out there. smile.gif
Breadmaster
I'm taking a Lola! clap.gif
