After his Singapore troubles Felipe Massa has not looked the same. He has choked in qualy in both Japan and China and couldn't make the front row with less fuel then anyone else. His race pace was also terrible in China and he went crazy after Hamilton passed him in Japan....
Will this continue in Brazil?
I dunno if Massa choked or if he just had races where he sucked... But Felipe has rocked in Brazil the last two years. I expect nothing less this year.

It's a well known fact that we humans don't read every single word of a sentence... I saw the words "choking" and "Brazil" so I naturally assumed this poll was about Lewis. Like most of us will do.
And accordingly voted yes. So the poll is skewed.

Hehe, my first thought was exactly the same.
But I heard that Ferrari introduced some new parts which suited Raikkonen but not Massa. Maybe that's a part of the answer why Kimi was faster lately?

wow thats rich coming from you, you've never stopped wishing for accidents from Lewis. You can't go around slamming a driver and then start crying now when some body does the same to a driver you like, doing so makes you a hypocrite.

I have never wished for an accident. I didn't say I want him to crash, just that his engine fails.

I wasn't impressed by pics of his mummy blubbing in the pits during China GP.Even worse than Lewis with his daddy and uncle Ron holding his hand. I think both Hamilton and Massa seem far too dependant on their entourage and family. They don't have the hard edge of a Kimi, Alonso or Kubica...

Very classy, hope it's nice under that bridge.
Massa rocks in Brazil, Hamilton definitely has a fight on his hands.

He was just slower, I agree- it wasn't a choke. The only reason he's second in the championship is because Kimi basically slept through the beginning of the season, in my opinion.

To each his own I guess.. All my friends younger than 30 think the same, while most of those who've had family or went past the 'attitude' years think much different (like I do).
If they're comfortable having parents hanging around and the ol' folks are wishing to travel along, then why not? Because some silly people might think they've been crying mommy or that daddy sort of hold them by the balls? Then screw the silly people and do as you wish, *that* is the manly thing to do. Faking and playing cinema isn't. They're not Ozzy and Alice, princes of the fire pits of hell, they're goddam race car drivers.

I thought Massa's mum looked really nice! If Felipe wins I hope we'll see her.
You're misreading Hammy if you think he's not tough, just because his dad's around. Last year he lost the championship in the Shanghai pitlane gravel trap, what does he do this year? In FP he attacks it, explores the limit, overshoots even. Then in the race he's as fast round that corner as anyone. That's bottle.
!
I do not think that Massa is as good a driver as Kimi, who now shows they way he can perform with the car, which is, the car the Ferrari started to race with this season.

Sadly his Merc is bullet proof unlike his team mates.

Both the Die Hard McLaren and Ferrari fans here need a choking.
I honestly hope Massa wins the race infront of his home crowd and Raikkonen and Hamilton get on the podium. Ferrari should be settling for the constructors title while McLaren get the drivers title.
Both teams have put in a superb job over the season with both teams have had their ups and downs.
McLaren shouldn't be complaning with a championship nor should Ferrari

It must be quite concerning McLaren having two subsequent weekends of engine trouble for Kovaleinen....
Is Brazil one of those tracks that demands alot from the engine? :\

I want to see Lewis have an engine failure with 5 laps to go with Kimi leading, Fernando 2nd and Felipe 3rd.
Then we'll see how much Kimi supports the team and how much Fernando hates Lewis/McLaren.

But is Alonso now so anti-McLaren/Hamilton as to help Massa? The two of them weren't best of freinds at the Nurburgring last year!!!
At the last race of the 86' season, Ayrton Senna said that he couldn't give a @#$% who was "around him and trying to win the title" and that he was out to win the race himself.
Give it a rest. Massa didn't choke last races & hamilton normally ll become wdc.

"Fernando Alonso insists he would be happy to help Felipe Massa take points away from Lewis Hamilton if he is in a position to do it."
The answer is yes, he is.

I have no horse in this race, I'm a Webber supporter so I'm used to oddball retirements from podium positions!
Hamilton is due a mechanical failure, Heikki has had two recently (engine, brakes) so you never know! I think Felipe and Lewis will lock up the front row and my scenario won't play out. :\
However, it wouldn't surprise me to see Fernando up in the front group, for no explicable reason I expect him to be particularly racy at Interlagos.
Anyway, hope it's a fair fight and the best man wins! (God, how boring!)

However it ends, I'd quite like to see Kimi and Fernando on the podium with the new Champ for a historic three-champs podium.

I can't see Hamilton getting a DNF for car issues just because he is due for one. Otherwise BMW would've had one long ago.
As I see it McLaren do all their car testing with Kova as the Guinea Pig. Kova probably wouldn't care at all providing he gets a decent pay for it. He had his contract extended so surely he doesn't care if he is helping Lewis this year. I can understand that Kova is furious at Lewis for his driving sometimes but deep down he still wants to see Lewis win though.
I hope Kova fighters better next year though for a chance of winning a drivers title. He has had chances this year but his team has let him down in most of the races.

My guess would be the other way round... deep down he would rather see Massa winning, but he'll be professional enough to help Lewis by any means possible.
Same probably for Kimi with Hamiltons and Massa names reversed.

If that were the case they should swap their drivers around it would be interesting to see Kova in Ferrari and Kimi back in a McLaren.
But its hard to tell if Kova really does want to help Lewis. He had his contract extended so surely he doesnt care about helping Lewis mostly but given the team Kova is with I could be wrong too he might want to remain with McLaren soley because alot of other drivers on the F1 Grid and GP2 would kill Kova for his spot to be in McLaren.
So either way its a double edged sword. On one hand he has to help an aggressive driver which most of the F1 grid hates but he has to be very lucky he is in one of the best F1 teams.
