So true. Switch the to Brazilian TV feed for some fair reporting why don't we?

Maybe the Spanish feed will have pundits from their popular racism forum.

Yes because the entire nation of Spain is racist and receive government funding for their websites. In fact you get paid to post!
That concrete wall near the pit entrance is going to be the scene for a nasty crash at one point.
A really dangerous place to park your car against.

Humour is not always disguised. Take it as such. I was merely pointing out that there are OTHEr fanboys besides Hamilton ones. And to be a Hamilton fanboy is somehow evil or misguided yet you can be a Massa fanboy and it's ok. Same with the press.
So back to actual talk of the racing and FP2 as it is happening now...
At this point Hamilton seems to be napping somewhere in the paddock while everyone is scrubbing in.

Massa and Ham look nearly equal in the wet. Wish I had remembered to record this on the PVR.

Well that's prolly just pre-cautious. It's not really wet actually.

Yeah i thought so. Just saying.
But it's rather dark in some areas of the track. So it could just start pouring down anytime.
Marc Surer just realized, that Massa obviously changed his setup before his last stint. The Brazilian suddenly has the same top speed as the McLarens and is equally "slow" in lap times and mid sector.
Meanwhile Lewis is out for another shot using fresh soft tires.
The Renaults seem to struggle, perhaps the Alonso factor will be 0.

Alonso seems to be doing 18.5s and Ham is doing 18.4s in sector 1. Sector 2 were looking at 37.2 and 37.0 respectively. Renault don't seem too bad right now. Not like they are that off. Fastest lap time on a variable track is moot. Look at the current lap times.
He might be running/testing heavy fuel to factor in a mid pack fight for his next job.

Just as Alonso puts in the fastest lap of the day
What a turn up for the books!
This may be interesting...

Haha, so why not fill us in on how the brasilians are covering the practise?
I think the fanboyism at the bbc website is really outrageous. Hammy fast he sets the benchmark, and when massa goes faster he just eclipses hammy? In contrast the times simply said massa dominates practise. So it isnt all bad in brit press land.

My Portuguese is pretty bad. Can't help ya there.
Enkei, you sorta jinxed him methinks. Please do it the same way with DC and Mark for the race! I mean say something about their poor performance so that they prove you wrong and win the race.

Someone decided to take lunch earlier and post the Hamilton story thinking he will be fastest...Who gives a toss about it.

I'll try, that'd mean LH becomes WDC. Seems we have a deal
That helmet cam from DC is awesome, I would have loved to see more of that.

Interesting session.
Lewis is locking up frequently, and what the hell was that last stint? Goes out and does one flying lap and creates a huge flat spot (why do Bridgestone cover it with tape after, does he need that tyre still?).
Kova and Lewis both frequently locking up in the twisty 2nd sector.
Meanwhile Kimi and Massa especially look great. Please no dumb rain.
Also Alonso looking very good too.
My ideal result for the weekend will be Massa, Kimi, Alonso, Hamilton. I fear that Kova will be short fuelled and used as the sacrificial lamb. Otherwise he's useless

Is Hamilton having an off-day, or is he keeping his powder dry?
or is the macca not (yet) up to it?
Massa seems to be about 2-3 tenths faster than Hamilton

McLaren is evaluating the tyre to make sure that they know when to call Lewis in for pit in case he flat spots his tyre again this sunday ;)

judging by the number of lock ups he had and the difficulty that Heiki had controlling the car makes me think the team is struggling with set up issues.
On another note I don't think Fred's great lap was in Ferrari's script either. To me this weekend is turning out to be a bit of a nail biter

Remember that the new surface at Interlagos is very abrasive and has channels in it to pull the water off the track in the event of rain... McLaren are burning up tires very quickly on this surface..

Fernandos lap was a super one. In the first session he could follow massa pretty easy and it looks to me the power issues are history.
Shame bourdais didnt impress. Hope he fares better tomorrow and sunday.

Don't forget his engine is on its second race. No jokers allowed this weekend either. Absolutely no use in blasting the hell out of it. Just get your work done, weigh up your tyre options and go home. I don't expect to see him fly tomorrow morning either. Quali will be another matter.

Today he hasn't used his race engine, so no need to save that one ;)

Hamilton and McLarens problem is tires and the extremely abrasive track surface... At the end they had tires taped so you couldn't see the cords showing..

Might be safe to say Hamilton will do 3 stops. Tires and fuel.
